Ski Boot Flex
Flex dictates how easily the boot moves forward when you press the tongue. It’s one of the simplest indicators of what type of skier a boot is designed for. Flex ranges from soft to stiff, with the former being the gold standard for beginners and the latter suiting more advanced skiers:
